Sharing of Influential People

Today we will share what we have learned about the Influential People of South Asia.

Under your class's document, enter what you find to be the most interesting 1-2 facts about your person. Once everyone has entered their facts, read through the list.

Next, we will view each other's images related to these people.

From the list of facts and the images: What stands out to you? What do you find surprising? How does this impact your perceptions of this region?

Once we have finished sharing, we will move onto our introduction to Islam and Hinduism and the influence these religions have had on the region.

For homework:
Watch and take detailed notes on The five major world religions - John Bellaimey.
(It's only 11 min. It's a little boring but very informative, and will give you a good basis for what we are going to talk about next week!)
